The other day I had the privilege of attending a lecture on web 2.0
the author: Alvaro Ibañez
"Alvy" for friends.
Alvy, is one of the authors of the blog
Microserfs. This blog was one of the first blogs that appeared in Spain and has more than 1 million visits each month.
That is not bad if we have that there are 130 million blog in the world, if only o7 million have been issued in the last month and one million in the last day. Another chilling fact is that the pace of publisher of the global blogosphere is of 38,000 entries per hour.
Turning to Web 2.0, there is no exact definition, but podernos generate our own definition based on the following features that should have this type of site:
- The web as a platform: for example
to Flickr Images, Myspace for music, Gmail for email.
- The power users as a group. Many of these sites are great success to the contents that are uploaded by users.
-programming models are light-Mayor
user experience interfaces, such as Google maps.
- Regular updating of the web.
- Using APIs
the programming interface.
